Happy New Year around the world 

We celebrate the new year on 1st January. New Year's Eve is on 31st December.

In London, people have big parties in the street. There are fireworks in the London sky. 

In New York, there is a countdown and a ball explodes.

In Australie, there are firworks in Sydney. People do picnics and barbecues on the beach on New Year's Eve because it's summer.
